(Aventura, FL & Charlotte, NC) July 21, 2023 — Suite929 Global and La Bella TM announced on Monday the name of their new DTC video network targeting U.S. Hispanics and that it will launch in the second half of 2023.
The companies say the new Spanish-language network, Cultura Ciudad, will focus on the issues “most relevant” for the youngest and fastest-growing demographic in the U.S. The network’s coverage will include “travel commentary, entertainment, music, food, health and wellness and more,” according to a statement released jointly by production companies Delaney Road (the production arm of Suite929 Global) and La Bella TM.
With spending power of over $1 trillion, Hispanics represent 16 percent of the total population in the U.S., a number that is projected to double to 30 percent by 2050.
“We’re thrilled to be partnering with Suite929/Delaney Road to launch Cultura Ciudad,” said Jaggar Muniz, co-owner, La Bella TM, in a statement. “Our collaboration will bring unmatched reporting capabilities and understanding of issues and entertainment that resonate with the Hispanic community, one of the fastest growing and important demographic communities in the U.S.”
Delaney Road, owned by Suite929 Global and named after Founder Chuck Holliday’s childhood street, owns half of the joint-venture while La Bella TM, owned by Tati and Jaggar Muniz, owns the remaining half.
“The launch of Cultura Ciudad will be a major milestone of service to the Hispanic community,” said Chuck Holliday, Founder of Suite929 Global (owner of Delaney Road), in a statement. “We’re thrilled to partner with La Bella TM in this exciting new network that will expand coverage of issues and lifestyle to Spanish-dominant audiences directly to their devices without the need for a cable or membership subscription.”
The two production companies announced that the network will be based in the Miami suburb of Aventura, Fla.
